Kenyon Hall Farm
15th to 31st October 2016
Every Halloween we go pumpkin crazy and we just can't wait to celebrate them with you! Join us for pumpkin picking*, carving, eating and more! The Festival is on every day until 31st October.
Admission to the festival is free, and no booking is required. There is a small charge for some of the activities, this year you can look forward to:
Pick Your Own pumpkins (free entry to the pumpkin patch, pay for your pumpkin by size from £1 to £10)*
Choose from a huge range of ready-picked pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colours (pay by size from £1 to £10)
Carve your pumpkins with Winnie The Witch and her fairies (£3 per pumpkin)
Spooky story time with Mrs Pumpkin (free activity - available 22nd to 31st Oct)
Enjoy Halloween-themed food, drinks and treats and pick up some fabulous Halloween decorations and gifts.
If you're after some family fun this Halloween then head to Spooky World's Fun by Day at Apple Jacks Adventure Park. This event is suitable for all ages, making it perfect if you've got littl'uns just starting out in the world of ghosts and ghouls. The Corn Cannon, Archery, Jumping Pillow, Roller skating, Drop Slides, Jacks Ball Blast, Mini Slide, Zip Wire are all included in your ticket and there will be spooky characters lingering around to give you a little jump -- but nothing to be too scared about

The Forbidden Forest is a dark and scary walk through experience, recommended for ages four plus, where there will be a host of challenges to test the nerves of bravest young souls. As children venture into the depths of the forest, they must beware of the hidden hole in the floor, those who don’t look where they’re going may never be seen again! This graphic hole will be surrounded by spooky objects and hanging bats and spiders.
Continuing the spooktacular activities is the Pumpkin Patch, the Forbidden Forest’s vegetable patch, where children will have to try to destroy the ghosts and ghouls who are trying to steal the pumpkins. And that’s not all, there will also be a Witches Garden, filled with scary slime, children should put in their hands in to find the missing potions!
Centre Activities will include:

· Make a Halloween witch or wizard hat
· Make a Halloween themed dreamcatcher
· Decorate a Halloween cupcake
· Make a Halloween themed wand and learn a spell

The Old Hall
You’re invited to the Spooktacular Halloween Party at The Witches’Hotel Magnificent. Find all the ingredients for Formula 86 Delayed Action Mouse-Maker whilst you keep an eye out for real witches who like nothing more than using the potion to turn children into mice! In the depths of the Hall is the creepy witches sweet shop laboratory. Our very own witch spotters will be on hand to help and there’ll be spooky storytelling in the eerie barn.
11am - 4pm (last entry 3pm)
At the Farm
When the clock chimes it’s time to stop your cackling and collect your conker from the Witches’ Tree and take part in the creepy, chilling conker challenge.
Step into the Mansion where some very unfortunate children have eaten the witches’ poisoned sweets and turned into mice. Help find them amongst the magnificent Mansion’s treasures and bustling servants quarters.

In the Garden
Go hunting for witches in the huge mysterious Gardens but expect gruesome surprises along the way. 10am - 4pm (last entry 3pm)
Fright Fest at The Cage
Spooky ghouls have taken over the Cage. Are you brave enough to venture inside? Free event following normal admission prices. 22nd-28th October.
Red House Farm
This Halloween we offer a fun-packed destination with all of our favourite activities. Operating out of the main courtyard area, we have the inflatable slide, barrel train ride, climbing wall, trampolines and much more. Provided to every child is the Spook hunt form – can you find all the Halloween themed signs hidden around the courtyard? Complete the form and return it to the desk for a prize!
The event is open every day throughout the Halloween holidays – you don’t need to book, just turn up and pay in the Farm Shop. Wristband Entry grants access to all the activities for the rest of the day. Age ranges are recommended for 3-8 year olds – there is no charge for 2's and under, and no charge for adults.
Make sure you get yourself dressed up for our fancy dress competitions - entry to the fancy dress is free for all customers paying for the Halloween event.
You can include optional pumpkin carving with your wristband. You will be provided with a pumpkin and child-safe carving tools, and you are welcome to take the pumpkin home with you. Parent or guardian supervision is advised at all time.

Come and see the ghostly goings-on, if you dare…
There’s a gathering of ghosts, ghouls and other grisly spirits descending on Eureka! this Halloween from 22 to 31 October 2016, but don’t be too scared to visit as there will be a GhostBuster on hand too!
From Monday 24 to Friday 28 October Eureka! will be opening an hour early so visitors can really get into the spirit of Halloween from 9am right through to 5pm.
If you ain’t ‘fraid of no ghost, strap your proton pack on and join the Eureka! GhostBuster on a ghastly tour of the museum to track down (and hopefully capture) some ghouls. Visit the haunted Mansion to explore your spookier side and listen to scary(ish) stories, and get your grisly groove on with some truly terrifying dancing every single day this half term.

Ghastly Ghosts & Spooky Stories - Family Activity Day
Listen to spooky stories in the Drawing Room, make your own ghostly print using leaves from our garden and explore our Victorian family home with a Halloween themed trail!
Story Time at 11.30am and again at 2.00pm. Craft activity and Trail all day drop-in.
Elizabeth Gaskell penned many different types of stories, including ghost stories! ‘The Crooked Branch’, written by Gaskell whilst she lived at Plymouth Grove, was about a ghost in a garden room…hopefully not ours!

Are you brave enough to break the curse of the Creepy Carnival?
Roll up, roll up for the ride of your life on the East Lancashire Railway's Halloween Ghost Trains! The spooky circus is steaming into town with a host of hilarious haunters and giggling ghouls. You will want to get ringside seats for this!

Lots of Halloween fun at Southport Pleasureland this Halloween and it is free entry each weekend and half term in October.
We’ll be open every weekend through October plus every day of the half term week (from Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th October). Expect to see hundreds of pumpkins, bats, spiders, ghostly gardens and more as you walk around our free-to-enter park. Our family themed month will put a sprinkling of magic on your visit to ensure everyone has a great day out, from grans to toddlers!
And if you really want to be terrified and you are over 16 you can experience Southport Pleaseureland After Dark.

We have lots of frighteningly good fun planned for this October half term here at Eden Square!
Join us on Saturday 29th October for our Funday of the Dead event, with Halloween fun based on the Mexican Day of the Dead festival. There will be fantastic entertainment from Oz Moses who will be performing magic shows at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm. PLUS, come dressed in your spookiest costumes to join in the Fancy Dress Parade at 2.30pm!
There is also a chance to WIN some fantastic Halloween prizes with our Gurn and Earn competition. Pull your scariest face and have your photo taken, which we will then upload on Facebook.
